In rock-earth engineering the filter and drainage measures
are always adopted in order to drain accumulated water ,reduce
and control containing water ,the aim of which is to improve
the stability of earth layer .The draining materials used in
general are sand and stones in the past ,but are hand-made synthetic
materials now.
What is soft pervious tube ?May say ,it is a blind ditch playing
a kind of filter and drainage (backward)effect .It is used wherever
underground drain is needed ,The tube have various advantages
of hand-made synthetic materials due to its making up of synthetic
materials .It can easy overcome many defects ,such as sandy
blind-tube ,etc .In the underground drain materials some use
PVC-holed tube and sand less-cement tube .But the above two
materials is rigid .
When they are buried in the earth ,they are easy to break
and draining function is lost ,if geological condition in the
earth is a bit changed .Besides ,the two materials is shorter
,they are easy to block up ;and they are difficult to construct
because their joints are lots ,
Soft pervious tube may be used to overcome the above defects
.It won't break due to the changing of geological condition
because it is soft .Its length may be indefinite ,so that it
is convenient to proved in the construction .As a new blind-tube
,it has many merits .the principle and design are in general
the same as PVC-holed ,may be adopted wherever exists blind
ditch ,so that soft pervious tube is warmly received and used
by designers and constructors . |
